The main aim of the bookshop is to make evangelical literature available so that people can come to faith and maturity in the the Lord Jesus Christ. It can be a non-threatening environment for people who may not initially wish to enter a church gathering, but who still wish to enquire about Christian things, ask questions or discuss issues. The bookshop also serves as a place of enquiry by people seeking addresses, times of meetings, etc., of various churches in the city and outlying regions. It also unintentionally becomes a place where people meet others who might not meet in the normal course of events.
